Roles and Responsibilities:
- The Candidate would be required to provide Voice and Email Technical Helpdesk services support to IBM Internal End Users and External Commercial Account End Users across North America, EMEA and Asia-Pacific
- The Candidate would be required to handle inbound calls/emails/chats regarding technical issues for End Users
- The Candidate should be able to identify basic hardware parts and possess knowledge of basic hardware concepts
- The Candidate should be skilled in commercially standard software applications and major desktop operating systems
- The Candidate should have awareness of basic networking concepts and technologies
- The Candidate should have excellent customer service orientation
- The Candidate should have user-level familiarity with at least one Email Client - Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc.
- The Candidate should possess questioning skills and probing skills that are relevant to the issue and the level of the caller
- The Candidate should possess excellent Communications skills
- The Candidate would be required to work in a 24x7 environment, and the changes can vary depending on geographies supported
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma Holders (10+2+3)
- 0-36 months of work experience
- 2016 pass-outs without backlogs in previous semesters can also be referred
- The Job description on the tool states 2016 pass outs only but HR has informed that earlier graduates will also, be considered.
- It is call letter based. Screen select candidates will be invited by HR for an interview.
