Western Union is hiring Associate QA - Java / .NET

• Candidate should be MCA/ BE/ B. Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 2-4 years of software quality assurance experience.
• 
  
•  Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitude. 
• 
  
• Should have experience in testing web-based solutions
• 
  
• Knowledge accessing relational databases (e.g. SQL scripting)
• 
  
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results
• 
  
• Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies
• 
  
• Strong communication skills with ability to interact with developers and product stakeholders globally

Technical areas of expertise:

1. Experience with test management systems (e.g. HP ALM, Jira Zephyr etc.)
2. 
   
3. Strong background in test writing to provide full spectrum testing
4. 
   
5. Functional Stability, Performance Reliability, System Resource Utilization, Usability
6. Experience with either Salesforce.com, Java or .NET full stack development and related tools
7. 
   
8. Familiar with deployment strategies, including creation and oversight of multiple QA environments
9. 
   
10. Good to excellent written communication skills, including technical documentation
11. Practical experience with creation of, and adherence to, an agile development scheduled for testing
12. 
    
13. Background in working with product stakeholders to organize, develop and execute User Acceptance Tests
14. 
    
15. Modeling experience for system execution workflows (e.g. UML Activity Diagrams) to aid in full system test coverage
16. 
    
17. Experience with selecting/creating appropriate test data, and practiced at Structured Query Language (SQL) to validate system’s correct data handling
