Principal Accountabilities:

1. He/she would design and implement the software components independently with minimal supervision.
2. He/she will demonstrate excellent decision-making capabilities.
3. He/she will work with cross functional teams to provide technical expertise in design and solutions.
4. He/she will continually look for better ways and not satisfied with status quo.
5. He/she will ensure high-quality deliverables in a time critical projects.
6. He/she will work closely with the Program Managers and QA teams and be the single point of contact for Engineering responsibilities.

Primary responsibilities:

• Able to develop and deliver the products with minimal guidance
• Lead small team of developers, showcase effective delegation and ownership
• Coding & debugging components of printer engine interface module in C/C++ on Linux/UNIX
• Bringing in more efficiency in delivery and focus on innovative ideas to improve the process and quality in delivering products
• Strong ability to understand existing code and create quality code from design models/documents
• Work closely with other internal development teams to investigate and debug cross module issues
• Work with QA and field support team and help to resolve internal defects as well as customer issues.
• Analyzing issues reported across various Fiery modules/applications and helped the cross team developers to reach an optimal solution

Technical skills:

• B.E. or M.E. in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering
• Experience in print domain, engine interface/product development programs, engine firmware, would be a big plus
• Experience in leading or mentoring a small group of engineers
• 8-10 years of experience in C/C++ development on Windows or Linux platforms
• Good knowledge of data structures designs patterns and algorithms
• Understanding of issues related to multithreading and hands-on experience in debugging such problems
• Experience in product architecture and design
• Strong debugging skills on Linux & Windows platforms
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Should be a team player
• Quick learning capacity and ability to work independently
• Good understanding of OS internals (Unix or Windows)
