Job Overview 1.Release testing of WLAN solutions (automated and manual)

2.Setting up test beds and other required provision for testing of Qualcomm products

3.Test plan updating and creating new test plan for new products

4.Bug reporting and follow up activities to resolve the bugs

5.Work with the development team for debugging and recreating the bugs

6.Automation of the testing process using Perl script with the existing frame work

Validation of 802.11 Wireless LAN products (Wi-Fi)

-Validation of WLAN products (Access Point/AP Router/ AP controllers/Station Cards)

-Expertise on Test plan creation, test bed design and implementation, familiarity with preparing functional and system test plans.

-Should be able to identify and debug issues and to track them.

-To report on bug metrics and status updates.

Minimum Qualifications 1.Basic knowledge in programming and scripting

2.Experience with Windows or Embedded Linux and/or other RTOS environments

At least 0-2 years of working experience in WLAN or networking products is an added advantage

4 Experience in setting up test beds for testing of networking equipments and developing test plans

Preferred Qualifications Skills:

Traffic Generators : IXIA/Chariot, Smartbits, iperf, veriwave, Spirent Test Center,

Traffic Analyzers : Wireshark, Ethereal, airopeak/omnipeak

Operating Systems : Windows XP/Win7, Linux

Defect tracking tools : Extraview, bugzilla

Automation : Perl scripting

Education Requirements Bachelors in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Electronics/IT or equivalent degree
